Annual Chocolate Lovers' Fling
The Chocolate Lovers’ Fling (CLF), our biggest fundraiser each year, is held on the first Sunday in April. Community members and supporters pay $20 in advance for general admission tickets (or $25 at the door), or $50 for VIP tickets, to enjoy an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord of the best chocolate treats from bakers and restaurateurs across York and Cumberland Counties! Children under 10 are allowed in free for general admission (donations are graciously accepted), or they can purchase a VIP ticket for $10.
We offer two opportunities of volunteering for this event:
- Planning Committee Member: the planning committee meets monthly to organize all aspects of the event including: media, corporate sponsorship, decorations, logistics, chocolatiers, volunteers, raffle and much, much more.
- Subcommittee Members: the subcommittee members assist the Planning Committee Chairs in implementing their tasks, but are not required to attend meetings.
- Day of CLF Volunteer: a "day of" volunteer has their choice of many tasks from set-up to cutting chocolate to clean-up. Each task is broken into 4 or 8 hour blocks of time.
