The 25th Annual Chocolate Lovers' Fling was a record breaking success!
For the 25th year, local businesses created their best chocolate creations for the Chocolate Lovers' Fling benefit. This year's Silver Anniversary event was held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in downtown Portland. This much anticipated rite of spring raises crucial funds to help Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine.
This year's event featured 20 Chocolatiers from around Southern Maine who served up their very best creations to wow the tastebuds of almost 1,000 eager chocoholics! Willy Wonka and his troupe of Oompah Loompahs entertained the crowds while Phil Smith, Magician Extraordinaire thrilled attendees with his mind-boggling tricks.
